Whisky

What to say about the best tasting drink of the world? Because I don´t want to overrate myselft I´ll quote several personalities:

Mark Twain: “Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough.”

Humphrey Bogart: “I should never have switched from Scotch to Martinis.”

Sir Winston Churchill: “The water was not fit to drink. To make it palatable, we had to add whisky. By diligent effort, I learnt to like it.”

Abraham Lincoln: “Tell me what brand of whiskey that Grant drinks. I would like to send a barrel of it to my other generals.”

Homer Simpson: “Yes, honey…Just squeeze your rage up into a bitter little ball and release it at an appropriate time, like that day I hit the referee with the whiskey bottle.”

George Bernard Shaw: “Whisky is liquid sunshine.”

James Joyce: “The light music of whisky falling into glasses made an agreeable interlude.”

Compton Mackenzie: “Love makes the world go round? Not at all. Whiskey makes it go round twice as fast.”

Raymond Chandler: “There is no bad whiskey. There are only some whiskeys that aren’t as good as others.”

Haruki Murakami: “Whiskey, like a beautiful woman, demands appreciation. You gaze first, then it’s time to drink.”
